Do MRI Centers Have Trained Radiographers?

MRI centers have trained radiographers who are board-certified, subspecialty-trained, and active in their field. These radiographers can interpret MRAs, MRIs, Weight Bearing MRIs, Neuroquant, and Arthrograms. Radiologists work with their technicians to administer the required test and will communicate directly with the patients’ doctors who will make the diagnosis. Trained radiographers at MRI centers run MRI scans to create high-detail images that will allow a diagnosis to be made shortly after the scan.

What Services do MRI Centers Provide?

MRI centers provide patients with an MRA, MRI, Weight Bearing, Neuroquant, and Arthrograms. MRAs are MRIs used for blood vessel imaging. MRIs provide standard imaging, with or without contrast, used for diagnosing injuries, diseases, and abnormalities. Weight bearing MRIs are used for spinal imaging. Neuroquant is an MRI used for brain imaging. Arthrograms are MRIs for joint imaging. Doctors will evaluate your situation and may recommend you to one of the services at an MRI center. They will then use the images to diagnose any problems.
