What is NeuroQuant Used For?

NeuroQuant is state-of-the-art technology used for early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease, Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and more. NeuroQuant monitors changes in brain atrophy over time and can identify how quickly a disease is progressing and if the need for aggressive interventions is necessary. Detecting brain diseases early on increases the effectiveness of treatment. NeuroQuant is a non-invasive and pain-free procedure used to obtain 3D images of the brain.

How is NeuroQuant Done?

As a supplemental tool to traditional brain MRIs, NeuroQuant processes the data, identifies and segments various structures of the brain, and creates 3D measurements of the brain. After the report is generated, radiologists and medical providers will analyze the NeuroQuant information and MRI scan. NeuroQuant is used by providers to assess neurological conditions and diseases by measuring volumes of the brain structures and comparing them to what they should be.
